January 25, 1972 - February 22, 2010
Allison Leigh Stroud, 38, of Mayflower passed away Monday, February 22, 2010. She was born Tuesday, January 25, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Don & Laura Fortenbury Rhea.
She was a loving wife, mother,& daughter. She began volunteering at Arkansas Rice Depot twenty-five years ago & was employed there for the last sixteen years. Mrs. Stroud was instrumental in founding the program “Food For Kids.” She made sure every child knew they were loved. Her life verse from the Bible was II Timothy: 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.,” which her family believes to be a true testimony for Allison.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Stroud; two sons, Josh & Caleb Stroud, two daughters Alex & Sara Stroud; & her parents, Don & Laura Fortenbury Rhea.
Members of the Maumelle Police Department family, served as pallbearers.
