Cecelia Barger of Melbourne, daughter of the late Frances and Isydour Jarutowicz, was born March 12, 1918 in Stockdale, Texas. She died at her residence in Melbourne on May 3, 1992 at the age of 74.
Cecelia lived in Melbourne since 1969 and spent her life as a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by four sons: Adrian Rouse of Austin, Texas, George Barger of Houston, Texas, Robert Barger of Fayetteville and John Barger of Farmington: two brothers, Adrian Jautowicz of Sequine, Texas and John Jary of San Antonio, Texas; one sister Clara Caldewey of Runge, Texas; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Barger in 1973.
Services were held on May 5 at 10 a.m. in the Howard Chapel in Melbourne with Robert Clark officiating. Pallbearers were Weldon Campbell, Johnny Barger, Albert Smith, John Floyd, Phil Hafen and Son Lamb. Burial was at the Melbourne Cemetery under the direction of the Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
