January 18, 1908 - February 7, 1966
Mrs. Mildred Speer Smith, aged 58, died Monday. She was a resident of Bearden. Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Speer of Bearden; two brothers, John Everette Speer of Magnolia, and Daniel Speer of Stamps, four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Peterson, Mrs. Naomia Shaddock, both of Camden, Mrs. Frances Williams and Mrs. Lois Nance, both of Bearden. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with Benton Funeral Service of Fordyce in charge. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. (Camden News - February 8, 1966)
