LUCY HOISINGTON
Mrs. Lucy Jane Hoisington, 83, a resident of the Rainbow Community near Rogers, died July 8 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born April 5, 1892, in Lamar County, Tex., she was the daughter of Henry Martin and Nancy Jane Brackenne Nall. A member of the Christian Church, she was raised in Texas, but lived many years in Wichita, Kan., where she worked in a hospital.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Naomi Evans, Hindsville, Mrs. Irene Daugherty, Wichita, Mrs. Modenia Monroe, Elsinore, Calif., Mrs. Ann Harcrow, Derby, Kan,, Mrs. Estellene Lassley, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Marion Fillpot, Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Ola Israel, Ft. Worth, Tex.; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Burns Funeral Chapel, Rogers, with Mrs. Pershing Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Rambo Cemetery under, direction of Burns.
