DORAN E. METCALF
Doran E. Metcalf, 70, Rt. 4, Rogers, died Dec. 21 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 8, 1906, at Springdale, he was the son of Ed and Lora McClellan Matcalf, a member of Avoca United Methodist Church, a retired farmer and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Dimple Henson and Mrs. Ora Gramling, Rogers, Vona Metcalf and Emma Metcalf, Avoca; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Callison Chapel, Rogers, Burial will be in Rambo Cemetery under the direction of Callison.
