W. Dale Oxford, 64, of Exeter, Mo., died Tuesday, April 23, at the South Barry County Memorial Hospital in Cassville, Mo.
He was born July 7, 1926, to David Oxford and Dovie P. Evans Oxford. He married Dixie Lane Sept 22, 1948, and moved in 1961 from Rogers to Kansas City, where he worked 27 years in the warehouse of Stockham Valve Fittings. He moved to Exeter in 1989. He was a member of Jehovah Witnesses in Cassville, Mo.
Survivors are his wife, Dixie Oxford; a son, Garry D. Oxford of Cassville, Mo.; a brother, Dallas Oxford of West Fork; two sisters, Mavis Lynch of Rogers and Ruth Frank of Seligman, Mo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Friday at Burns Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Burial is to be in Rambo Cemetery. Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
