Charlie Noel Thomason, aged 49 of Haskell, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1963 at the home of parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Thomas in Tinsman. He was born in Calhoun County on Nov. 16, 1914. He is also survived by wife, Mrs. Opal Davis Thomason; three daughters, Mrs. Carroll Westbrook of Benton, Mrs. Don Tuggle of Malvern and Miss Vicki Thomason of Haskell; a brother, Gervas Thomason of Haskell; four sisters, Mrs. Otis Reddin, Hampton, Mrs. Ross Watson, Tinsman, Miss Melvie Thomason and Miss Wilma Thomason of Texas; and one grandchild. Funeral services were at Earnest Church and burial in Earnest Cemetery near Tinsman. (Calhoun Herald - Hampton, Arkansas - December 3, 1963)
