Lucille M Jesse, 80, of Menifee, died Friday from injuries she received in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 64 one mile west of Conway.
Her husband, Isaiah Jesse, 78, was treated and released at Conway Regional Medical Center.
An Arkansas State Police report said Lucille Jesse was the driver of a Ford pick up truck headed east on Highway 64. A GMC pick up, driven by Robert Rogers, 65, of Plumerville, crossed the center line, and the
vehicles collided head-on.The accident occurred at 11:30 a.m., and Jesse died at 3:25 pm, Faulkner County Coroner Patrick Moore said.He said Mrs. Jesse was "conscious and alert" after the accident and was
transported to Conway Regional Medical Center. Moore said she suffered broken legs and died of internal injuries.
