Died April 2, 1989, West Plains, Howell County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Wiley Junie Helm & Minerva Etta Mason Helm.
Married William Franklin Ballard, March 28, 1914, Izard County, Arkansas.

Georgia Lee Ballard, 93 of Oxford died April 2, 1989 at the Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, MO. Mrs. Ballard was a homemaker and a member of the Oxford Baptist Church since the age of 16 years.
She was preceded in death by husband, one son Dorr Ballard, two brothers, Horton and Earnest Helm.
Survivors include; three daughters, Faye Sherrell, Lois Blevins and Rhea Singleton all of Oxford; two brothers, Henry Helm of Salem, Cecil Helm of Wenatchee, WA., several grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 5, at the Baptist Church in Oxford, with Noble Wiles and Duane Flood officiating.
Pallbearers were: Tom Steer, Cassie Hall, John Vest, Bruce Hall, Tim Dockins, Dwayne Singleton. Honorary pallbearers were: Darrell Sherrell, James Dillard, Russell Sherrell, Powell Webb, Darrell Ferguson, Ron Helm.
Burial was under the direction of McGee-Estes Funeral Home in Salem.
