August 14, 1880 - July 4, 1966
Fordyce - Walter Sidney Nutt, 85, of Hampton, died Monday at his home. He was a Methodist, a retired farmer and cotton ginner. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Tempie Thomason Nutt of Hampton; three sons, Blan Nutt of Tinsman, Curtis Nutt of El Dorado and W. S. Nutt, Jr. of Hampton; two daughters, Mrs. Wallace P. Murphy of El Dorado and Mrs. E. C. Bounds of Hampton; one brother, Jim Nutt of Tinsman; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Hampton Methodist Church with burial in Earnest Cemetery near Tinsman by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. (The El Dorado Times - July 26, 1966)
