James Vernon Overturff, 81, of Shirley, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at his home. Born May 25, 1926 to the late Robert Harold and Ruth Delia (White) Overturff, he was a retired truck driver and service station owner, and a veteran of WWII, Pacific Theatre. Services will be Tuesday, March 11, 10:00 AM at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, with burial to follow at Rushing Cemetery in Stone County. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
