November 30, 1906 - December 6, 1956
Julius F. Anthony, aged 50, native of Bearden, died early Thursday after a long illness. He had lived in Bearden all his life and was well known in the county. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mamie Leysath of Camden, three sons, Julius F., Jr., James Albert and Jay Anthony, all of Bearden, a daughter Mrs. Elbert Garner of Fordyce; four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Assembly of God church at Hopeville and burial was in Bethel cemetery by Benton funeral service. (Camden News - December 7, 1956)
