A. H. Caldwell aged 67 of Oxford died in a hospital at Paragould last Saturday morning. His survived by his wife, five daughters; Ruby, Mrs. D. S. Patterson, Mrs. John Ballard, all of Oxford, Mrs. Leonard Webb of Oklahoma and Mrs. Ola Martin of Calico Rock and two sons; Claud of Pleasant Plains and Adlie who was at home. Funeral services were held at Oxford last Sunday.

Oxford Citizen Dead
A. H. “Al” Caldwell, prominent citizen of Oxford, died at Paragould last Saturday, after several days illness from diabetic gangrene. He was taken to a hospital at Paragould one day last week. Burial took place at Oxford Sunday.
Mr. Caldwell spent the greater part of his life in the vicinity of Oxford, being engaged in the mercantile business there for several years. His widow, two sons and five daughters survive.
