CAVE SPRINGS — James Norton Farish Jr., 60, of Cave Springs died May 11, 2002, at a local nursing center. He was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Neelyville, Mo., to James N. Farish Sr. and Loleta Faye Jones Farish.
He moved from Guy to Cave Springs in 1955. He was a Baptist. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed working an cars and playing his guitar at nursing homes and senior centers.
Survivors include his parents of Cave Springs; three sons, Douglas Farish and wife Jimmie of Rogers, Rex Farish of Richmond, Va., and John Farish of Springdale; one daughter, Tammy Donohew and husband Darrell of Tontitown; one brother, Lanny Farish of Bella Vista; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, with the Rev. Ron Fields and Ken Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
