ROBERT FRANK EDSELL
Robert Frank Edsell, 81, 179 Pyramid Drive, Rogers, died April 11 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 18, 1896, at Grubeville, he was the son of William Frank and Anna Musick Edsell and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War I and World War II, a member of the American Legion, VFW in Springdale, Disabled American Veterans and World War I Barracks. He moved to Cave Springs in 1947, owned and operated Frank's Barber Shop unti1 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vera Lee Elliott Edsell of the home; one son, Ronnie Edsell of Arkadelphia; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Shawm and Mrs. Elaine Huykamp of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Linda Crowder of Point Clear, Ala.; one brother, Marvil Edsell of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Dryer, Mrs. Alene Hartman and Mrs. Velve Bouligny of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Balding officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers. Visitation hours will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Burns' chapel at Rogers. Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church.
