Ruth Hall Wilson, 93, of Melbourne died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Melbourne. She was born November 1, 1912 in Durant Oklahoma, the daughter of Burl E. Hall and Eler (Leonard) Hall. During World War II she worked in defense plants in California. She married her husband, John Wilson in 1967. She managed a hotel in Wenatchee, Washington; She was a member of the Melbourne Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, John Wilson of Melbourne; one sister, B. E. Morgan of Melbourne and 18 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Howard Hall, Woodrow Hall, Billy Gene Hall; four sisters, Magalene Kerr, Nova Glyn Hill, Modema Wren, and Farena Hall. Pallbearers are Bob Gifford, Jack Hays, Al Gillihan, Paul Hall, Ronnie Hall, and Vick Hall; honorary pallbearers are J. L. Bryant, Jack Morgan, and J. D. Hall. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne. Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery at Oxford, Arkansas by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne (870)368-4540. There will be no visitation.
