J. M. Carruthers Passes Away
John M. Carruthers who was born at Wheeling, Ark., passed away October 11 at the age of 84 at Oxford.
He is survived by his wife Julia and 3 daughters, Mrs. Elva Franks and Mrs. Leffie Taylor of Oxford and Mrs. Lela Chadwick of Cushing, Okla.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Salem.
