Elsie Lillian Weston 84, formerly of Oxford, died February 12, 1989 at White River Health Care Center in Calico Rock. She spent her working years as a mother, a homemaker and was a member of the Oxford Baptist Church. She had been a resident of White River Health Care Center for the past 4 years.
Survivors include her husband, Acie Cebern Weston of White River Health Care Center; 1 son and daughter-in-law. Paul D. and Joanne Weston of Independence, Missouri; 1 brother, Leonard Yancey of Melbourne; 3 sisters, Vellie Neall of Salem; Edna Smith of Evening Shade; Alpha Simmons of Brockwell; 1 granddaughter, 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Services were held February 14 at the Salem Funeral Service Chapel with Duane Flood and Noble Wiles officiating. Burial was at Oxford Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Charles Everett, Vernon Neal, David Smithson, James Dillard, Billy Joe Yancey and J. H. Ward.
