Acie Cebern Weston of Oxford, son of the late Dallas Weston and Suzie Wilkes Weston was born May 11, 1904 in Brockwell. He died December 31, 1996 at the Medical Center of Calico Rock. He was 92.
Mr. Weston was united in marriage to Elsie Lillian Yancey October 20, 1921 in Oxford. To this union two sons were born.
Mr. Weston spent his working years as a farmer and a sawmiller. He was a member of the Oxford Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for many years.
Survivors include one son, Paul Weston and wife, Joanne of Independence, Missouri; one brother, Lester Dockins of Batesville; three sisters, Kate Clark of Brockwell, Epper Yancey of Calico Rock and Alice Lancaster of Calico Rock; one granddaughter, Kristy Main of Independence, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Lyndsey and Ryan Main of Independence, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, one infant sone, Acie Junior; several brothers and sisters and his parents.
Services were held January 4, 1997 at Cox-Estes Chapel in Salem with Brother Duane Flood officiating.
Interment was at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford under the direction of Cox-Estes Funeral Home in Salem.
