Charlie Warren Wallis, a resident of Vanndale, Arkansas, departed this life, Monday, March 31, 2008 at his residence at the age of 56. He was born February 23, 1952 in Marianna, Arkansas the son of Troy and Genevia Lucille (Tilley) Wallis. He married Miss Sharon Kay Potts on May 23, 1970. Charlie was a carpenter for many years before starting S&W Masonry, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Wynne where he was a trustee for many years before becoming Foreign Missions Director. Mr. Wallis was also a volunteer Fireman for the Vanndale Fire Department. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Wallis is preceded in death by his parents: Troy and Lucille Wallis. Mr. Wallis is survived by: Wife of 37 years Sharon Wallis, one son Paul Warren Wallis and wife Jen of Wynne, Arkansas; two daughters Tobie Moore and husband John of Wynne and Jamie Pruett and husband Jason of Drummonds, TN; two brothers Homer Wallis of Cherry Valley and Jerry Wallis of Cherry Valley; One sister Geraldine Brahmel of Moro; Three Grandchildren; Cory Moore, Troy Wallis, and Tyler Pruett; Two Step Grandchildren: John Robert Moore and wife C.C. and Melissa Moore; Two Step Great Grandchildren Landon Moore and Katie Moore.
Family requests memorials be made to the Calvary Apostolic Church Foreign Missions or the Vanndale Fire Department.
