Bertha Mae Huffines, 86, of Timbo entered into rest on January 3, 2010 in Mountain View. Bertha was born September 14, 1923 in Searcy County, Arkansas to Sam George and Gertha (Farris) George. She was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Lillie Mae Sanders and husband Bill of Timbo; sons Linford ‘Dale' Huffines and Wayland Huffines and wife Cheri all of Yakima, Washington, Carlon Ray Huffines and wife Rita of Harrison, Arkansas and Billy Gene Huffines and wife Sharon of Mtn. View, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Loyd Huffines, grandson Alan Huffines, daughter-in-law Shirley Huffines and her parents, Sam and Gertha (Farris) George. Funeral service was at Bethany Baptist Church, Onia, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Don Fletcher officiating and interment was in Farris Cemetery, Onia, Arkansas. Pallbearers were Michael Vannatter, Michael Martinez, Brandon Martinez, Lance Buchanan, Hunter Buchanan and Sonny Allen.
