Thelma "Granny" Gilstrap, daughter of the late Grover Houston Robins and Sarah Elizabeth (Gifford) Robins, departed this life on Friday, September 24, 2010. She was born December 2, 1915, in Newburg, AR. She was united in marriage to William Harry Gilstrap in Izard County, Arkansas, on November 29, 1935, and to this union, one child was born. Her husband preceded her in death on September 21, 1979. She became a member of the Church of Christ at an early age, and attended King's Orchard Church of Christ after moving to Washington state in 1994. She worked in the fruit, harvesting and packaging, for many years. She also worked at a Guide Lamp factory in Anderson, IN for a period of time during World War II. She loved her family. She enjoyed music and singing. She also loved working in her garden and flowers.

She is survived by her son, Cleo Gilstrap of Rock Island, WA; grandsons, Danny Gilstrap of Wenatchee, Randy Gilstrap and wife, Debbie of East Wenatchee and Timothy Gilstrap and wife, Carri of East Wenatchee; eight great-grandchildren, Camille Gilstrap White and husband, Jason of Wenatchee, Jennifer Gilstrap of East Wenatchee, Kaylee, Brandi and Baily Gilstrap of East Wenatchee, Alex Gilstrap and wife, Brandee of East Wenatchee and Sam and T.J. Gilstrap of East Wenatchee; two great-great-granddaughters, Emily White and Avery Gilstrap; two brothers, Cleo Robins and wife, Nova of Wenatchee and R.D. Robins and wife, Louise of East Wenatchee; one sister, Vivian Roddy of Mountain Home, AR; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Edith Blevins of Mountain Home, AR and Wanda Roselle Robins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Telford's Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, and a Graveside Service will be held at Noon, Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, AR. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
