White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, September 27, 1979:
Harry Gilstrap of Oxford, Ark., died Friday, September 21, 1979. He was 66.
Mr. Gilstrap was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma; one son Cleo Gilstrap of East Wenatchee; 2 brothers, Curtis Gilstrap of Yakima and Clarence Gilstrap of Salem; 2 sisters, Ola Ballard of Oxford and Gladys Holloway of Rock Island, Wash.; also 3 grandchildren.
Funeral was at Oxford Methodist – Presbyterian Church on Monday at 2, with Carter Funeral Home of Salem in charge of arrangements. Rev. James Bourgeois and Rev. Duaine Flood officiating. Burial was in Oxford Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Orlie Moss, Jerry Owens, Horace Yancey, Bob Pittman, Venon Roddy and Noble Rowden.
