Faye D. Sturtz, 90 of Vilonia, left this world on Friday, December 23, 2011. She was born in Saltillo, AR on July 26, 1921 and was the older of two girls of the late Floey and Earnest Riffle, of Conway, Arkansas. She is a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Vilonia, Arkansas. She has always loved gardening and beautiful flowers. She attended school in California a couple years, then moved back to Arkansas and graduated with ten others, in a little one room school house , at Mayflower, Arkansas. As a military wife, she followed her husband wherever he was stationed, they traveled all over the United States, getting to retire here in Vilonia. She was the beloved mother of one daughter and two sons. She is survived by her son Ray Sturtz and his wife Wanda, of Vilonia, a daughter Jean Helbling, and her husband Dusty, of Ozark; a grand daughter, Angela Sturtz; four grandsons, Bobby Sturtz and Gary Sturtz of Vilonia, Marc Richardson and Shawn Richardson of Oklahoma; five beautiful great granddaughters Destinii , Savannah, and Amber Sturtz of Vilonia, and Hailey and Raven Richardson of Bokoshe, OK and two handsome great grandsons, Tristan Richardson of Oklahoma, and Jacob Sturtz of Vilonia. She is preceded in death by her husband Elwood F. Sturtz, son Elwood Lee Sturtz of Green Forest, Arkansas, her sister Robbie D. Arick of the Bayou Meta area, parents Earnest and Floye Riffle of Conway, Arkansas, and grandson Jeffrey Sturtz of Vilonia. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Bro. Mike Collier officiating. Interment will follow at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 26 at the funeral home.
