Emery Buehl Maxwell of Brockwell, Arkansas, son of the late Thomas and Cora Cain Maxwell was born December 1, 1912 at Bastrop, Louisiana. He died November 3, 1993 at Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80 years.
Emery worked as a welder and a policeman. He was a Seventh Day Adventist.
Emery is survived by his wife Velma Maxwell of the home; two step-sons, Gary Washburn of Brockwell, Arkansas and Craig Washburn of Reno, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were November 5, 1993 at the Howard Chapel in Melbourne, Arkansas, with Alvin Wilson officiating.
Pallbearers were Gary Washburn, Frank Matthews, Clinton Hawkins, Warren Fales, Robert Thunberg and Peter Meekma, Jr.
Interment was at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Arkansas, under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne, Arkansas.
