CAVE SPRINGS — Charles (Chuck) Eugene Rutherford, 61, of Cave Springs died Feb. 15, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born March 11, 1933, in Siloam Springs to William Marion and Ida Jewell McIntyre Rutherford. He was a broiler-service manager for Tyson Foods Inc. and was a volunteer fireman for the Cave Springs Fire Department. He was a member of the American Legion Post 274 of Cave Springs and the First Baptist Church of Cave Springs. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Kenneth Rutherford.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Rutherford of Cave Springs; two sons, Alan Rutherford of Bentonville and Brian Rutherford of Rogers; one daughter, Dorena Temple of Dallas, Texas; his mother of Bentonville; two brothers, Bill Rutherford of Gravette and Tommy Rutherford of Bentonville; one sister, Iva Mae Hutchinson of Prairie Grove; four grandchildren, Ashley Rutherford and Kayle Rutherford, both of Bentonville, Steven Rutherford of Rogers and Alex Temple of Dallas.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Cave Springs with the Rev. Billy Henry and the Rev. J.M. Farish officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
