Silas Owens Jr, 71, of Twin Groves, died Tuesday Feb 10, 2004 at his residence.
Born July 7, 1931, in Damascus, he was a son of the late Silas Owens, Sr & Georgia Willie Octavia Dooley Owens.
Survivors are his wife, Queen Owens of Twin Groves; 2 sons, Haywood & Silas K Owens III, both of Conway; 3daughters, Octavia Owens Moore of Little Rock, Dollean Cohen of Dallas, Texas, & Ann Hood of Twin Groves; 2 brothers, Bob Owens of Maumelle & H D Ealy of Twin Groves; 3 sisters, Pauline Morris & Farris Thompson, both of Twin Groves, & Lillie Swafford of Los Angeles, Calif ; 10 grandchildren; & eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kareem Cohen, Haywood Owens Jr, Corderoll Hood, David Hood Jr, Silas Deonte Owens, Greg Hart & Darren Tate.
