Beulah Dell Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri formerly of Oxford, daughter of the late Clayton and Lucy Everett Green was born July 16, 1902 at Fairview. She died August 24, 2000 at Barry Health Care in Kansas City, Missouri. She was 98.
Mrs. Taylor was united in marriage to Gordie Isaac Taylor September 7, 1919, at Fairview. To this union, nine children were born. She was a mother and a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, Remmel Taylor of Oxford; Vester Taylor and Hayden Taylor both of Kansas City, Missouri; four daughters, Ina Mae Powell of Kansas City, Missouri; Velma Webb of Oxford; Faye Sanderson and Peggy Ball both of Kansas City, Missouri; 32 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Ravie Taylor; one daughter, Wilma Hayes; four brothers, Harrison, Elb, Zela and Theodore Green; two sisters, Linnie Ogle and Lela Green; one granddaughter, Sandy Hayes; one grandson, Anthony Taylor; four great-grandchildren and her father and mother.
Funeral services were held August 28, 2000 at Oxford Baptist Church with Dana Taylor, Jackie Taylor and Arthur Barber officiating.
Interment was at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Estes-Blevins Funeral Home in Salem.
