Floyd Edmond Hickam, age 83, of Wilmar passed away July 27, 2011 at his home in Wilmar. He was born April 8, 1928 in Wilmar, Arkansas.
He was retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission and as manager of Baccum Nursery. He was a graduate of Arkansas A & M College (now UAM) with a degree in Forestry, a member of First Assembly of God Church of Monticello and a veteran of the Korean War. He was the son of the late Charles and Doris Berryman Hickam and was also preceded in death by a brother, Willard Hickam and a sister, Carlene Peebles.
Survivors include his wife Martha Sue Rhodes Hickam of Wilmar; two sons, Charles Hickam and wife, Tessa of Wilmar and Terry Hickam and wife, Cindy of Sherwood; two daughters, Debbie Dahlager and husband, Ian of Tacoma, WA and Lisa Geary of Monticello; two brothers, Billy Hickam of Wilmar and Wilson Hickam of Biddeford, Maine; two sisters, Robbie Hawkins of Wilmar and Mary Bellofatto of Naples, FL; two grandsons; Trey Geary and Josh Hickam; seven granddaughters, Tara Goff, Kaitlynn Hickam, Julie Hallett, Kassie Claunch, Brittney Kocourek, Brandi Coger and Brooklyn Dahlager; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Harmony and Kiley Hickam, Austin and Peyton Kocourek.
