Richard Ealy, first Mayor of Twin Groves, AR, departed this life at the age of 81, on Monday, November 14, 2005, at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas.
Born on June 15, 1924, in Damascus, Arkansas, (Twin Groves) to the late Richard Ealy, Sr & Mattie Ealy,
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Altha Faye Jones, step-daughter, Connie Elizabeth Bunting, two sisters, Bettie Ann Green, Dr Bernice Moland, & one brother, Clay M Ealy.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lee Ethel Ealy of Twin Groves; one daughter, Sharon Jeffries of Akron, Ohio; twelve step-children; two brothers, Doyle Ealy & Arlanders Ealy of Indianapolis, Indiana; four sisters, Grace Criswell of San Francisco, California, Qumire Segrest of Indianapolis, Indiana, Hazel Whitlow & Hester Rodriques of Boston, Massachusetts; & a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, & other relatives & special friends.
