Brother James Fields was born September 30, 1938 in Damascus to the late Lonnie & Wille Ann (Rhodes) Fields. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. In 1959 he was married to Verlean Ealy. To this union, one son was born, Rickey, who also preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn, his devoted wife, Verlean Fields of Twin Groves, Ar; one son, Rob Hoskins of Mayflower; one daughter, Marilyn Garlington of Morrilton; four brothers, Clifton & Billy Joe Fields both of Flint, MI,Clifton Fields, Jr of Slymore, Ca, Arthur T Fields of Inglewood, Ca, six sisters, Ova Lee Curry & Dorothy Mae Halcrombe of Cleveland, OH, Jeraline Talley and Queenetta Owens of Twin Groves, Vernetta Holbrok of Rockledge, FL, Gladis Toney of Springfield, Ar; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; & a host of nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday (January 17) at 1:00 pm at Zion Grove Baptist Church in Twin Groves with Rev Anthony Webb, Sr officiating.
