SILOAM SPRINGS -- Lodema Marie Vest, 83, of Siloam Springs died Feb. 2, 2002, at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla. She was born April 22, 1918, in Colony, Okla., to William E. and Marie Penner Bergthold. A former resident of Kansas City, Mo., she was a retired nurse's aid and a member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Chuch in Siloam Springs. She was an active member of the Hope for the Bereaved group in Siloam Springs for many years. Her husband, Roy Vest, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four brothers, Ernest Bergthold of Lodi, Calif., LeRoy Bergthold of Shawnee Mission, Kan., Raymond Bergthold of Dallas, Ore., and Bill Bergthold of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Wilma Romine and Inez Couch, both of Gentry.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Larry Petton and A.P. Vohs officiating. Burial will follow in Coffelt Cemetery, near Vaughn.
