SIGMAN, Geo. — Last Friday evening while Geo. Sigman was preparing to leave the Cave Springs mills his horse became frightened and ran away. The buggy struck a tree and the gentleman was so violently thrown to the ground that death resulted immediately. His skull was crushed and his left arm badly crushed. The deceased was 40 years old and leaves a wife and several children. He was a Mason in good standing and was buried with Masonic honors, Bentonville Lodge attending.

A young man by the name of Geo. Sigman met a sad and unexpected death last Friday night. While out driving near his home at Cave Springs Mills his team became frightened and ran away with him, overturning the buggy and throwing the unfortunate man out with such force as to crush his head and break his neck. He was a young man, well respected and his untimely death is regretted by all. We sympathize most sincerely with his bereaved relatives. The body was buried the next day in the neighborhood burying ground. Thus the uncertainty of life.
