OXFORD — Anniece Blevins Reed, 76, of Oxford died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in Melbourne.
Born June 28, 1934, in Springhill, she was the daughter of Gilbert Earnest Blevins and Susan Ella Standford.
She was a lifetime resident of Izard County. She was employed at the Oxford Store and Pioneer Nursing Home. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Randall Reed on June 7, 1980. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Oxford Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Lyndal Gregory Stuart of Oxford; a brother, Gerald Blevins of Oxford; two sisters, Patsy Campbell of Melbourne and Phyllis McCurley of Oxford; four nephews, Rocky Campbell, Toby McCurley, Jerry Blevins and Monty McCurley; and a niece, Tabby Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Oxford Cemetery with Steve Stevenson officiating.
Arrangements are by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
