VANSANDT, Minnie - Died August 21, 1900 of typhoid fever, Minnie Vansandt, aged 16 years, daughter of Robert and Sallie Vansandt. She was a patient and uncomplaining sufferer for thirty-one days. The evening before her death she called mamma and papa to her bedside, embraced them and told them she was going home. During her brief life Minnie was a good, obedient little girl and her being cut down in the flower of her youth is a source of much sorrow to her parents, brothers and sister who are left to mourn her loss. We laid her to rest in Union cemetery to await her final summons that shall call each one of us from his narrow bed of clay to receive the reward that shall be given. D.B.R.
