Eddie Don Parsons, 38, of Springdale, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Springdale. He was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Springdale to Ralph and Gayle Ellenbarger Parsons.
He was a lifelong resident of the area, and was an avid World War II history enthusiast and collector. He enjoyed music, the San Francisco 49'ers, and spending time with his family. He was an accomplished character artist, and appreciated the military service men and women and considered them all American heroes. He was employed by Jenisys Engineered Products in Tontitown. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Ellenberger, Jody and Mary Parsons.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Renee Parsons of the home; two sons, Robert Lawrence Parsons of Fort Hood, Texas, Daniel Ryan Parsons of Fayetteville; his parents, Ralph and Gayle Parsons of Springdale; one stepdaughter, Stacey Wright of Fayetteville; one stepson, Matthew Wright of Marshall, Texas; one sister, Staci Fultz of Springdale; maternal grandmother, Juanita Ellenbarger of Springdale; two grandchildren, Jayden and Kianna, to whom he was known as PawPaw; three nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 13 at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with Gary Frazier officiating.
Burial will follow in Sonora Cemetery.
