*Obituary
On Saturday morning, September 20, 1919, the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Fuller and claimed for its victim the father. Mr. Fuller was sixty-one years, eight months and thirteen days old. He had been in very bad health for some time. Oh how sad it is to give him up, but the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, and He is too wise to make mistakes. His will be done and not ours. He leaves a wife, two daughters, four sons and a host of friends to mourn his death. He was a true father and husband, and a friend to every one who knew him. He professed a hope in Christ several years ago and died in the faith. What a great consolation to know that he was ready and willing to go. The funeral services were conducted by Bro. Willie Fincher. His body was laid away in the Mt. Moriah cemetery to await the resurrection morn. A father dear from us is gone, the voice we loved is stilled, a place is vacant in our home which never can be filled. Carrie Fuller (Nevada County Picayune - October 2, 1919)
