Born September 15, 1875 Madison County, Arkansas. Died October 23, 1960 Izard County, Dolph, Arkansas. Married Mary Ann Sanders December 20, 1919--died 1960. Twin sons died in infancy 1921. Member of the Methodist Church/Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Buried Trimble Campground Cemetery, Dolph Arkansas.
[Note: The gravestones for A. M. Stephen and Mary A. Stephen do not have an "S" at the end of the name; however, the gravestone for their sons spells the name Stephens. Some other documents such as the marriage records also spell the name Stephens. The marriage record has his first name spelled as Asbury while other documents spell it Asberry.]
