JO BELLE HALBROOK
Miss Jo Belle Halbrook, 84, of Springfield, Mo., died Oct. 1 in a Springfield hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1894, near the Pilgrims Rest community, she was the daughter of Joseph Erin and Martha Johnson Halbrook and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a retired schoolteacher and left the Springdale area to attend high school and college in Springfield.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Blanch Mildred England of Fayetteville; a nephew, Edward Allen Halbrook of Mexico City, Mexico; and three nieces, Virginia Harris of Rogers, Patricia Halbrook Miesner of Springdale and Helen Palanski of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sonora Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
