Gentry
Troy McClellan
Troy McClellan, 69, of Gentry died July 4, 1993, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1924, in Benton County, to Andrew Dow McClellan and Anna Mageline Burrows McClellan.
McClellan was a stock farmer and a lifetime resident of the Gentry area. He was a U.S. Navy
veteran of World War II. He belonged to the DAV, the American Legion, and the USS Colorado Association. He was a member of the Gentry First Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Virginia Ennis McClellan a son, David Lynn McClellan of Gentry; two sisters, Merle Smith of Gentry, and Olga Meigs of Decatur; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Gentry with Rev. Eldon Burnett and Pastor M. D. Huett.
Burial is to be Springtown Cemetery with services under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
