Henry M. Ennis, 72 year old resident of Gentry, Ark. died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday. September 18 at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 15, 1905, in Van Buren County, Ark., the son of Tom and Martha Millsap Ennis. He was a retired farmer and had lived most of his life in the Springtown and Highfill area. He was a member of the Faith Chapel Church in Gentry.
He is survived by: his widow of the home; two sons, James and Charles, both of Gentry; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia McClellan and Mrs. Wilda McChristian, both of Gentry, Mrs. Elsie Davidson of Siloam Springs, and Mrs. Nona Evans of Fairfax, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Wesley of Rogers, Ark.; two sisters, Miss Essie Ennis of Gentry and Mrs. Fannie Sullivan of Medford, Ore.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, at the Wasson Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. John Clayton officiating.
Burial was in the Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Ark. under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
