Aged Woman Passes Away
Miss Harriet Perryman, aged about 78, one of the county’s most highly respected ladies, died at the home of Mr. R. H. Campbell near Dolph, last Monday morning, her death occurring rather suddenly. She was born and reared in this county and for the past few years had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Campbell. Deceased was a devout Christian, being a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her. Burial took place at the Trimble Campground cemetery Tuesday, funeral services being conducted by Rev. D. R. Robertson of Mt. Olive.
