SPRINGDALE — Jack Roy Laswell, 89, of Springdale died Oct. 11, 2006, at Springdale. He was born Oct. 7, 1917, in Oklahoma to Clarence and Stella Litrell Laswell. He was a Baptist and a retired boiler operator for Boeing Aircraft. He enjoyed fishing and was a champion domino player. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Laswell, in 1992.
Survivors include one son, Danny Laswell of Rogers; one daughter, Peggy Samas of Springdale; one brother, Leon Laswell of Oklahoma; one sister, Juanita Davis of Springdale; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sonora Cemetery.
