Bradley Dean Swan, 32, of Hamburg, died Thursday, March 03, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Swan was a native of Hamburg and a resident of Hamburg and Crossett all of his life. He was a farm laborer and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dean Austin; his grandparents, Henry & Peggy Austin and Linda McCollum.
He is survived by a son, Brady Austin Swan of Hamburg; a daughter, Claire Elizabeth Swan of Montrose; his mother, Tammy Swan; his step-father, Mike Carter, both of Crossett; two brothers, Michael Preston Carter of Crossett and Ryan Austin of Geep; his grandfather, Norman Swan of Hamburg and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Rev. James Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Carlock Cemetery. Pallbearers are Lamar Vestal, Austin Vestal, Shane Austin, Ryan Austin, Blake Swan and Michael Oliver. Memorials may be made to the Carlock Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. Mike Bays, 131 Ashley 462 Road, Hamburg, AR 71646.
