Addie Louise Swan, 80, of Hamburg died Friday, June 10, 2005, at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Hamburg, she was a retired school bus driver who worked for the Hamburg and Crossett school systems for many years, and she worked for the Minit Shop in Crossett for over 15 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crossett. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rayford Swan; two sons, Johnny Swan and wife Glenda and Billy Mark Swan, all of Hamburg; four daughters, Linda Maxwell of Crossett, Patsy Woods and husband Jim of Crossett, Paula Morris and husband Bill of Casper, WY, and Janet Toon and husband Ronnie of Crossett; a brother, Harvey Poe of Hamburg; a sister, Iva Kate Swan of Hamburg; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Lula Kate Coulter Norrell; a sister, Evely Norrell Johnson and three brothers, Louis, Bill and Bud Wayne Norrell. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Crossett with Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Burial followed services at the Carlock Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jonathan Pannell, John Allen Swan, Shane Carpenter, Bobby Swett, John Paul Swett, Jeff Norrell and Eric Sansing. Funeral arrangements were by Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Crossett, 500 Main Street, Crossett, AR 71635.
