Pfc. Tommy David Boyd, 26, a former resident of Springdale, was killed at 3:45 a.m. Sunday in an enemy attack on an outpost in Korea. He is believed to have relatives in the Springdale area.

Springdale - Funeral arrangements are pending for Pfc. Tommy David Boyd, 26, of Springdale Route 2, who was killed July 16 in Korea when North Korean troops attacked his position along the demilltarized zone.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson of Springdale; one son, Brian of Springdale and one brother, Don Boyd of Springdale.
Arrangements will be announced by Sisco Funeral Chapel.
