Mrs. Marie Harvey, age 84, of Salesville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at Care Manor Nursing Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born August 14, 1927, to Chester and Emma White Smith. On October 3, 1947, she married F.L. “Lefty” Harvey in Mountain Home. A lifetime area native, Mrs. Harvey was an active member of the Norfork Church of Christ, was a homemaker, and enjoyed family gatherings, volunteering at the Norfork Thrift Store and reading.

She is survived by a son: Donald (Hazel) Harvey: Mountain Home; three daughters: Jeanne (E.J.) Weatherford: Salesville; Cindy (Gary) Porter: Norfork; and Sandra (Gregg) Fusman: Ferndale, Washington; four brothers: J.O. Smith: Scotts Bluff, Nebraska; Gerald Smith: Lebanon, Oregon; Doyle Smith: Albany, Oregon; and Steve Smith: Mountain Home; two sisters: Chestine Klinner: Kennewick, Washington; and Barbara Hebert: Tallahassee, Florida; five grandchildren: Derrick and Michael Weatherford; Alisha Rouse; Lori McFall and Landin Fusman; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister: Pauline Shackleford.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Norfork Cemetery with Brother Jim Windland officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Norfork Cemetery Fund or the Norfork Thrift Store. Roller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
