Robert A. Wynns, 90, of McNeil, died Wednesday night in a Magnolia hospital following a brief illness. He was born July 10, 1875 in North Carolina and lived in Columbia County since 1875. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Wynns; three sons, Johnie A. Wynns, El Dorado, Ray Wynns, Magnolia, Bill Wynns, New Orleans, La.; six daughters, Mrs. Joe McNulty, Mrs. Oren Wright, Mrs. Bud Blake, all of Coffeeville, Kans., Mrs. Maurice Akers, Pampa, Tex.; and Mrs. Ruth Pickering, Mineola, Tex. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Prospect Methodist Church. Arrangements are made by the Stamps Funeral Home. Other honorary pallbearers are Kennth Burns, Maurice Cook, Curtis Kinnard, Sr., Taylor Ponder, O. W. Hogan, John Green and T. J. Byrne. (The El Dorado Times - July 30, 1965)
