Allie Mae Doughty Cragar, age 97, of Perryville, passed away January 4, 2012. She was born May 22, 1914 in Thornburg, Arkansas, a daughter of William Doughty and Eva Camp Doughty. She was a member of Perryville First Baptist Church. Allie loved people, quilting, missions, and her church.
Survivors include daughters: Linda Hathcock and husband Gary of Perryville, Shirley Whitt and husband Ed of Chandler, Oklahoma; son: Ted Cragar and wife CaroleAnne of Laguna Niguel, California; brothers: Joe Clyde Doughty and wife Edith of Benton, Arkansas, Floyd Doughty of Blue Jay; many nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. J.P. "Pete" Cragar; son: James Leroy Cragar; and great-grandson, Dillon Hopkins.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Perryville First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Stanley officiating. Burial will be at Harmony Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
