Henry Griffith Jr., 41, Pea Ridge, died at Sparks Memorial Hospital in Fort Smith Thursday from injuries received in an auto accident near Pea Ridge on Oct. 2. He was born Dec. 29, 1933 in Tulsa, Okla.
He was vice president of the Little League in Pea Ridge.
He is survived by his wife, Daphne Griffith of the home; seven children, Henry L. Griffith, Leona Cawthon, Glenda Griffith, Joe Griffith, Aaron Griffith, Justin Griffith, all of Pea Ridge and Phyllis Mendenhall, Fort Smith; four grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Griffith; two sisters, Kathlene Farro, Naples, Fla., and Pauline Jones, Tulsa; his step-mother, Carmel Dial, Poteau, Okla.; several step sisters and brothers including Maxine Worley, JoAnn Dunnagon, Mary Kay Griffith, Barbara Ann, Patsy, Newth and Henry.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Pea Ridge with the Rev. Jay Ashlock officiating. Burial will be in Reddick Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
